If you are a big fan of beans then I must say you should have tried this recipe. Although red cow peas are rich in calcium and iron which are good for health.

  • 1 cup red cow peas
  • 3 ripe tomatoes
  • ½ cup paneer cubes
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 2 green chili silted
  • ½ cup chopped spring onions
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • ½ tsp gram masala

INSTRUCTION

STEP 1

  • Rinse the peas and soak them in 2 cups of water for 5 to 6 hours.
  • Now boil them in a pressure cooker for 2 to 3 whistle or until get soft.

STEP 2

  • Blanch tomatoes and make a fine puree.

STEP 3

  • In a pot heat 2 tsp oil, add chopped onions and chili, fry hem until onions are get translucent.

STEP 4

  • Now add puree and turmeric,chili powder and cook them until the tomatoes leaves the side of the pot.

STEP 5

  • Now add boiled peas except its water.
  • Fry them well.
  • In the meanwhile shallow fry paneer cubes in another pan

STEP 6

  • Add the boiled water of the peas.let it cook.
  • Now add paneer cubes and stir it.Off the gas

STEP 7

  • Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with any breads/rice/roti
