Now make your Sunday mornings more interesting,preparing this mouth watering and healthy broccoli and flattened rice poori.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup broccoli (blended)
  • 1/2 cup flattened rice (blended)
  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • oil
  • salt
  • water

STEP BY STEP PREPARATION

STEP 1

cut broccoli florets and blanch them in 1/2 tsp salt and turmeric water for 1 minutes

Now rinse  and dry them well.

Grind the florets in a blender without water.

STEP 2

Clean flattened rice and shallow fry them for 1 minute on medium flame.

Now blend them to fine powder.

STEP 3

Mix broccoli,flattened rice,wheat flour,some salt,1 tsp oil, and water in a large bowl

STEP 4

Knead to make a soft dough.

STEP 5

Make small balls from the dough

STEP 6

Now roll them into a medium size thick poori.

STEP 7

In a wok heat 2 cups of oil.Now drop  poori and fry them until golden and crispy both the sides.

STEP 8

Do the same with remaining poori. Serve with any curry.
