Mushroom and egg flatter is a good break fast or any time snack.It prepare very fast and easy too.

This recipe of mine is prepared without any planning.I remembered a day during lock-down,i have a left over of one roti and couple of eggs.Also mushroom in my refrigerator was going to mushy.I need to cook it else throw it, which i never like to do.

I just heard from  mushroom and egg are taste good but never ever tried.Always hesitate to mix veggies with egg.but as i say without any experiment you cant discover anything .

i  remembered the day..  i got a call from one of my friend and i was quiet busy on phone.Accidentally i put roti on egg  instead of making paratha. When i saw,i stared scold to my friend but poor she was.I just off the phone and i tried to rescue my one and only roti :),but it already settled with egg mixture.

But as you know when the output comes out well then there should not be any complained for ..That’s happened to me.

Whatever this dish is really delicious and get happy stomach :).I am sure cooking this mistaken dish you will never ever regret for..such a simple and hearty dish.


MUSHROOM N EGG FLATTER..

prep time:- 5 mins

cook time:-10 mins

total time:- 20 mins (additional time)


things we need to prepare

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms(any..)
  • 2 onions (chopped )
  • 2 to 3 green chilies (chopped)
  • 1 wheat roti/tortilla
  • pinch of turmeric
  • Garam masala
  • Olive oil,Butter
  • Salt

Use any mushroom and clean it. Finely chop them.

In a pan heat 2 tsp oil,add chopped onions,green chilies and saute it.

Continue stirring with adding chopped mushrooms,little salt and fry it.Cook it until light brown and cook nicely.Sprinkle some garam masala and lower the flame.


Meanwhile crack eggs and whisk smoothly with adding turmeric and  salt into it.

Spread the mushroom mixture on the tawa and pour the egg mixture over it.

Place the roti on hot tawa. Drizzle oil/butter on both the sides of the roti and fry it slightly.


Put it over the egg mixture and pat it using spatula.When bottom will be set, flip it .

Cook for another some second.You can drizzle some butter/oil to fry the paratha.

Its ready no and serve it with one glass of your morning drink.
