Mushrooms are the one of the most beautiful food and only vegan non-fortified dietary source of vitamin D.

A versatile veggie meal,bursting with flavors. You can add more veggies of your choice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g mushrooms
  • 1 radish
  • 2 onions(chopped)
  • 1 handful green peas
  • 1/2 cup shallots
  • 2 to 3 green chilies
  • water
  • oil
  • salt

preparing masala

  • 1 onion
  • 8 to 9 garlic pods
  • small piece of ginger
  • 3 to 4 cloves

Blend to make a fine and smooth paste of the above ingredients.

STEP BY STEP PREPARATION

STEP 1

  • Clean and chop mushrooms.

STEP 2

  • Soak them in a turmeric water.(1 tsp turmeric).Then wash  and squeeze water from mushrooms.
  • Wash and peel off skin of radish.Slice them into small pieces.

STEP 3

  • In a wok heat 2 to 3 tsp oil and shallow fry them until all water of the mushrooms evaporated on high flame.keep them aside.

STEP 4

  • In the same pan heat 3 tsp oil,add green chilies,turmeric,chili powder on medium flame.
  • when they change colour,add chopped onions.saute them.

STEP 5

  • Add prepared paste and fry them until raw smell of the masala goes off.

STEP 6

  • Add peas and fry them well

STEP 7

  • Add fried mushrooms and saute it.

STEP 8

  • Now add slices of radish and shallots.Fry them and add 1 cup of water.

STEP 9

  • Cook on shimmer for 10 minutes till gravy gets a thick consistency.Now off heat and serve hot.
