Oats pineapple stuffed omelette is fluffy filled with goodness of oats and fruitiness of pineapples. Its littles cheesy and prepared out of refreshment of mint.

All we know omelette is one of the staple dish in the world originated from pesian become versatile and adopted into various version in different cuisines. Oats and eggs makes your breakfast much more filling and may even help you stay full until lunch time.Both supply energy to your body to keep your energise though your work.

Some times a simple  omelete is not such enough to energies whole day.I get bored from monotonous egg breakfast no doubt they more are tasty but i love experiment and when it comes to egg,really its very difficult to try.I remebred in my college days  busy shedule of my study I fell  in love with oats first time.After a lone break of night i always carve for food in breakfast and a sweet tooth too.In my hostel in a small tiny stove which was quite useful for my three friends to make porridge along with fruits.But its not enough for long time hectic study hours and i always need some snacks until lunch.  So i invented a new version of omelete which would take less time and healthy too. Well sometimes its a lazy cooking for me to stuff all in one and keep you fulltill lunch time.

Adding cheese is my choice you can avoid it either.Because now after marriage i prepared it first time with cheese because love to experiment in food.Also the fruity flavour of pineapples and minty leaves are almost the great way to make lazy sundays where we want to less engable in kitchen.

stuffed oats pineapple omelette

things we need to prepare

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp. oats
  • 1 tsp milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped pineapples
  • 2 tsp chopped tomatoes
  • 1 small onion -finely chopped
  • 1 tsp  green chilies  -seeded  -finely choppd
  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 3 tbsp. water
  • a handful of mint leaves -finely chopped
  • a handful cheese(any) – parmesan goes better


Heat oil in a pan,add cumin seed allow it to splutter. Add finely chopped onions,green chilies and tomtoes.When tomatoes are get soft add oats. Fry it and add water and salt.

Use less water to only cook the oats not like porridge.Sprinkle chopped mints and pineapples.Saute on high flame and sprinkle pepper.Off the gas.

Mean while crack  eggs and beat it in a bowl.Add salt, turmeric and milk. Beat it using a spoon until fluffy.

Milk in the omelette allow it reduce the odure of egg and makess it more soft.

Grease a non stick pan and pour the egg mixture.Fry on medium flame,place the oats stuffing on the omelette and sprinkle cheese.Fold it and fry both the sides.Off the flame and serve hot with coffee.
