INGREDIENTS

250gm oyster mushrooms
1/2cup tender coconut paste
1 tsp yellow mustard seeds
2 dried red chilli
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
Turmeric
20cloves garlic
1 small piece ginger
2 medium onion (chopped)
1 small tomato(sliced)
Garam Masala
Coriander leaves

mustard oil(any oil)

HOW TO PREPARE THE RECIPE

STEP1

wash nicely the mushrooms in 1 tsp turmeric water, squeeze well.
STEP2

a pan pour 1tbsp oil ,fry mushrooms on high flame until all it’s moisture disappeared. then medium flame fry the mushrooms until light brown. keep them aside
STEP3.

making paste…
a.Remove the skin of coconut.Make a fine paste of coconut.
b.Grind to make a paste of mustard, dried red chilli
c.Ginger garlic paste
STEP4

In the same pan heat 1 tbsp oil, fry onion till brown, add ginger garlic paste, sauté until its raw small disappeared.
STEP5

Add 1/2tsp turmeric, chilli powder, add tomato stir it till the tomato get soft.
STEP6

Pour mushrooms and sauté on high flame, adding garam masala

STEP7
Add mustard paste ,stir it for 1 minute on medium flame

STEP8
At the end add coconut paste and mix evenly with the mushrooms.

STEP9
pour water and wait till the gravy start to boil, add salt. cover it let it cook for 10 minute to get a nice thick gravy.
off the gas garnish with coriander leaves and server with steamed rice/roti
