Another year of winter has come out, a fall season when Indian fruits stall or push carts are thriving with ample of winter fruits. If i talk about pears which is one of the common fruit of any season ,but the ripen small pears which i feel always like a baby sister of apple is really crunchy outsides and juicy inside.

A diverse fruit when squeeze lemon makes a lip smacking evening snacks. The salsa is very simple with the good ness of five ingredients :

pears of course: These bell shaped sweet pears are one of the ancient fruit on the earth. It has a power fruit of nutritious and antioxidant.

An illusive fruit which always confused for its ripeness. Pears are becoming popular fall and winter fruits, and there are now many different varieties found in good markets.

Unlike other fruits pears are not ripen on tree. For instant ,use your thumb and  simply push gently on the flesh near the stem . If the fruit is slightly soft, it’s ripe. If the flesh is hard,  leave it on at room temperature until it’s ripe.

lime : A citric fruit always goes best with any salsa or we can say the soul of most of the salsa.

green chilly : Another natural spiciness to your taste bud.

Pomegranate seeds : No matter of any season these shiny seeds of pomegranate is a package of health benefits.

walnut : A funky dry fruit from nut family, just chop them and add into the salsa is one of the healthiest way of living healthy life.


pears salsa

things we need to prepare

  • 2 sweet ripe pears
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 2 finely chopped green chilies
  • 4 tbsp. pomegranate seeds
  • 5 to 6 walnut
  • salt

Instructions

Rinse and clean the pears. Core and remove seeds. Slice into small chunks.

Add into a bowl, put some crushed walnuts, pomegranate seeds, green chilies  and squeeze lemon over it.

Toss well. Season it with salt and serve immediately.
