A simple and sweet delicacy made out of water chestnut and banana.A easy and delicious dessert for any time hunger.


PREPARATION STEP BY STEP WITH PHOTOS..

  • In a pan shallow fry chest nut flour until nice aroma comes out.It will take 8 to 9 minutes over lower flame.Off and cool it.
  • Blend ripe banana to smooth paste.
  • Meanwhile,in a shallow bowl mix altogether rice flour,sugar,cardamom powder,1 tsp ghee,banana paste,chest nut flour,pinch of salt and water.The mixture should be thick consistency,else you can add some water or milk to adjust the consistency.Keep the mixture rest for 10 minutes.
  • Grease an iron skillet over medium flame and place 2 to 3 tsp  of the mixture on the tawa and form a round shape pitha. Drizzle oil/ghee around it.
  • You can cover it or cook on lower flame for 1 minute.
  • Flip it and drizzle some more oil.
  • cook til both sides are nice golden brown.Do the rest same for rest of the mixture .
