Soy belongs to the pea family is a complete protein it shelf. It is an important source of protein for many people, especially those who follow a vegan or vegetarian diet. Soybeans are a high protein plant food that people can prepare and eat in a variety of ways.  Soybeans are healthful and rich in protein, giving them numerous nutritional uses. 

Soybean fried with rice and some garden salads, a complete lunch for any one.You can eat this simple dish with rice and curd too…


INSTRUCTIONS (STEP BY STEP PHOTOS)

Wash and soak soy bean seeds overnight.Now discard it’s water and boil them in a pressure cooker with 3 cups of water.Add little salt.

Steam it on lower flame till 6 to 7 whistle or the seeds are cooked soft.

Now off the gas and allow the pressure cooker to cool naturally.

In a pan heat 2 tsp oil,add chili powder,turmeric on lower flame.Now add 1 tsp tomato ketch up.saute it.

Add prepared paste and stir it.

Blend tomato and add tomato paste into the masala. Fry masala on medium flame till raw smell goes off.

Add chopped onion and combine them well with the masala.

Pour the boiled seeds along with it’s water and salt.. Cook on higher flame when the gravy starts to boil cook on shimmer.for 6 to 7 minutes.

Now off the flame and sprinkle  with chopped cilantro..

You can prepared it with gravy or with out gravy,as you like to eat.

It can be serve with roti or rice.Also can be a good choice for any side dish.
