This is a very easy and quick recipe.It’s crunchy and crispy taste with any curry will admire you that you are a vegan.
It can be eating in the time of fast also….
- 9 to 10 taro roots(saru/arbi)
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 8 to 9 tsp rice semolina(rice flour)
- 8 to 9 semolina
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp soda
PREPARATION FOR VADA
wash thoroughly the taro roots and boil them in a pressure cooker with 1 cup of water.
you need to wait for 15 minutes/4 to 5 whistle /until all the taros get soft.on medium flame .
Now remove all the skin and mashed it nicely.
now add rice semolina,semolina,salt,soda,oil ans make a stiff dough.Keep them in a bowl for half an hour
No water need to add
Now heat a generous amount of oil in a wok.
Take small portion of the dough and make small balls.Now drop balls into the oil and deep fry until golden brown crunchy both the side.
Remove them in a absorbent paper.And serve hot with any curry.
